Cafepress IPO? Is it coming?
One of the ways to understand the direction and priorities of any given company is to review their job postings. Rumors of a Cafepress.com IPO have circulated before around the internet but no one really has any info. However, during a review of Cafepress.com job postings they list an opening for a Compliance Manager with the following as part of the job description: “This is a newly created position to support the company’s objective of developing and strengthening its financial control environment, support its rapid growth, and become SOX compliant and IPO ready. ” It is hard to say how long it might take before Cafepress.com might go public but this might be a sign that it is happening sooner than we think.

They are an innovative company and they’ve grown substantially, so rumors of them going IPO make sense. Either way, I hope their service and dedication stay the same.
